Glycerin
Contributes to the toothpaste's thickness or viscosity making it easier to apply and spread evenly on the teeth and gums.

Dicalcium Phosphate Dihydrate
Scrubs away dental plaque and surface stains from teeth while helping to re-mineralize enamel.

Calprox® (Calcium Peroxide)
Dissolves bio-film on enamel to stop plaque and stains from forming.

Flavor
Vegan artificial flavor.

Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose
Used as a thickening agent to give the product a desirable texture and ensure it stays on the toothbrush during application.

Urea Peroxide
Helps to remove bad breath bacteria, and gently whiten teeth.

We recommend a toothbrush for best results. However, try putting a pearl size drop on a treat, or apply petsmile toothpaste directly onto their teeth.

How much toothpaste should I use each time I brush with petsmile toothpaste?

We suggest using about a pearl size drop of toothpaste depending on the size of your pet.

Is petsmile professional pet toothpaste safe to use for puppies and kittens?

Yes, petsmile professional toothpaste is absolutely safe to use for puppies and kittens! We encourage you to start brushing on as early as possible.

Do I need to wait to feed my pet after brushing?

No need to wait! In fact, we suggest giving your pet treats throughout the brushing process as a reward, especially when you are just starting to train them.

My pet is refusing to let me brush. What can I do? 

Many pets are not used to their mouths being touched, or foreign objects being inserted into their mouths! We suggest starting slow and providing plenty of treats.
